Hot Spots in Seattle

Space Needle:

Standing over 600 feet high the space needle is the landmark of Seattle. Ride the elevator to the observation deck and have lunch or dinner in the Revolving "SkyCity" restaurant. Take in the breathtaking 360 degree view of the city and coastline. This is one to remember.

Museum of flight:

Take a quick drive about 5 miles south of downtown Seattle to visit the King County International Airport. There you will see aircraft of all sizes including the first Boeing 747 to take fight, the first Presidential Jet and a 214 Supersonic Concord which could fly from New York to London in 3 1/2 hours. Next visit the "Red Barn" which is a historic building which was originally Boeing's factory. The Red Barn now houses various historical exhibits including wooden aircraft and how they were built.

Seattle Public Library:

This is no ordinary library. This Architectural Glass Wonder is reason enough to come visit. Walk around this building to take it all in. This library has close to 1 million book so I'm sure you will find what you're looking for. They also have CD's and DVDs to keep you entertained and informed.

Museum of History & Industry:

This is a must see when visiting Seattle. With almost 4 million exhibits, photos and archives, only a small percentage are on display. With that being said you will still need to spend the majority of your day to take it all in. There are different galleries to see like the "Walker Special Exhibits Gallery", "McCurdy Family Maritime Gallery", "True Northwest" and "The Seattle Journey".

Chihuly Garden and Glass:

If you are close the the Space Needle you might want to visit the Garden of Glass. Opened in 2002, this glass exhibit by Dale Chihuly is a walk though your imagination. See glass trees, flower gardens and glass of all shapes and sizes. Chihuly's glass exhibits are seen in many high end hotels like MGM Resorts, Bellagio Las Vegas and many more.
